DESCRIPTIONS

Chaperones - Supervising and escorting the Band during all away games, home games, out-of-town trips and special events.

Medical - Ensure that we have all medical forms completed on each student. Administer urgent care in emergency cases until emergency medical technicians [EMT] arrive to treat student/patient.

Security & Equipment - Assist with handling, fixing and transporting equipment when needed to games and events. Responsible for the welfare of band members, inventory of band assets, instruments, security of buildings, concert sites; increase band awareness of safety issues.

Concession Stand - Concession stand volunteers are responsible for setting up, cleaning up, cooking, taking food orders, collecting money for items purchased. Concession stand volunteers work on a rotating basis.

Hospitality/Special Events Planner - Hospitality coordinates pre-travel band meals, refreshments for special events/concerts, and the Band Family Day meal. As well as oversee the Friday feedings and plan the year-end banquet to be hosted in May.

Ways and Means - Assist the Band Director with fundraisers. Research ways for the band program to raise money to subsidize band expenditures.
